I am not happy that I have become one of those people that has a blog on their website but never keeps it up. What to do? With Facebook and Twitter (not that I have an account) it's hard to keep up. And, well, it's been a busy year so far. The first exciting news is that Women Fully Clothed will be playing Massey Hall. I am thrilled. What a venue. It will be a great night. And it's our new show, Older & Hotter. Finally!!!! We also enjoyed a successful short run in Chicago at the Second City anniversary. It was a magical weekend. Got to see friends I hadn't seen in years, met a few idols and performed to great crowds. Not bad at all. We are planning on going back to Chicago later this year with hopefully some more US dates in the fall. Also working on some television projects - my own and other people's. It's nice to be hired by other people sometimes. I think there's this perception that if you write and produce your own shows that you never want to be hired by others. Not true, I say. I just got back from a very inspiring and fruitful trip to New York. Saw a wonderful new play called Next Fall. I highly recommend it and I hope that it gets produced in Toronto sometime. There is much great theatre to see in Toronto actually. My friend (who played Cary from The Jane Show) Hardee T. Lineham is in a play at Canadian Stage called The Overwhelming. Also my pal (name dropping again) Colin Mochrie is in Art at Canadian Stage. And my other lovely friend, Caroline Gillis is in Daniel McIvor's play, Communion, at Tarragon. Great shows to see on a lovely spring evening.
